With the feed in tariff from rooftop solar regularly dropping, it is becoming more difficult to completely eliminate your electricity bills with a solar installation alone. As a solution to this, The Australian Government is currently subsidising the installation of solar batteries to help businesses and homeowners store the excess solar they are generating from their rooftop solar.

The effectiveness of a solar battery requires careful consideration in understanding your usage, your current solar system and what you are hoping to achieve from a battery install. We will work with you on this so you have complete faith in your purchasing decision.

• Store energy you can use in your home when your rooftop solar alone is not sufficient (ie night usage, overcast days, or high usage periods)
• Home backup in periods of grid outtage. Note not all systems can achieve this. We will work with you in understanding your requirements and how we can design a suitable system to meet your needs.
• Have full control of your battery via a dedicated monitoring app. This will help you understand your home energy usage habits and when you rely on solar and battery power.
• The option to charge your battery from the grid during periods of low energy prices. This can make a battery worthwhile even without having solar.
• Use your battery as part of a VPP. You can sign up to a retailer such as Amber and sell your energy stored when the wholesale price of electricity is high.
